markdown to typst code generated does not compile with typst compiler default to pdf

What version of pandoc are you using, on what OS? (If it's not the latest release, please try with the latest release before reporting the issue. Note that many linux distributions have old versions of pandoc in their repositories.)

Correction:

pandoc -s --pdf-engine=typst gaza-peace-plan-september-22-2025.md -o gaza-peace-plan-september-22-2025.typ

Note that with or without "--pdf-engine=typst" the same comoile error occurs.
Typst is the latest 0.14.0-2

Is this the issue at #11238 ?
If so, there is a workaround described there and the issue is fixed in HEAD.
