I have used the select method from the collection, but it gives an error stating that the method does not exist.

I have checked below code in my system in laravel version 10 and 12
It's working fine in laravel version 12 but not in Version 10.

    $users = collect([
        ['name' => 'Taylor Otwell', 'role' => 'Developer', 'status' => 'active'],
        ['name' => 'Victoria Faith', 'role' => 'Researcher', 'status' => 'active'],
    ]);

    $users = $users->select(['name', 'role']);

    dd($users);
