DAVE is too slow when displaying many entities at once

When asking to DAVE to plot many entities at once, the GUI significantly slows down for a few seconds. This is not normal and is considered an issue.

I'll investigate transitioning to PySide6 + PyQtGraph instead of CustomTkinter and matplotlib. But this might take a significant amount of time. Sorry for that.

Hey Maxime, just an idea: maybe consider Plotly (Dash) for this.

Or even focus Dave on providing the buffer backend and provide an easy to use interface for custom GUI/plotting functionality to be used?

Hi, thanks for the idea. It looks like Plotly is mostly for drawing graphs ? I would still need a gui framework for the rest of the features I'm using.
The transition to PySide6 + PyQtGraph is already on its way, and pyqtgraph seems to be more than enough for what I need.

About DAVE providing just the "backend", well it already does haha. If you wanna plug something else then fork and be my guest ! I'd be happy to help.

Here is a first look at how it would look with the new graphic backend (it's using Breeze OS theming, probably defaulted to the Fusion Qt style)
