Video resolutions over 4096 for beta backend?

Hi! any plans to increase the supported resolutions of the beta backend over the stated 4096?
RuntimeError: Video is too large in at least one dimension. Provided: 5760x2880 vs supported:4096x4096

Motivation, pitch

I work a lot with spherical videos, which often come in very large resolutions like the above. Would be great if beta backend could support this as it's much faster in my experience!

I'm afraid the dimension restrictions are imposed by the NVDEC hardware itself. It's not a TorchCodec limitation, it's a constraint that comes from the GPU. Looking at https://docs.nvidia.com/video-technologies/video-codec-sdk/13.0/nvdec-video-decoder-api-prog-guide/index.html#video-decoder-capabilities, it looks like only the blackwell architecture supports resolutions greater than 4096x4096
