better PR file management

I tend to navigate a lot by doing cmd+p and jumping to a file i want by entering parts of its path. it would be nice to have a similar feature, but open the file inside of the PR.

Also, if I open a file in the currently checked out repository, I would expect it to be highlighted in the PR file tree, if it exists in the PR.

Lastly, it would be nice to be able to browse through the codebase, like it is normally possible by clicking on imports and looking up definitions.

This one is possible when you have the PR checked out. It would be nice to also have this for a non-checked out PR, but the code navigation comes from the language extension (ex. typescript) and it doesn't understand PR files.

I would expect it to be highlighted in the PR file tree, if it exists in the PR.

This also works when you have the PR checked out. The file will be selected in the "Changes in Pull Request" view. For the "Pull Requests" view (PRs that you don't have checked out) we don't currently do this. Would you expect it to work just for diffs or for the current file on disk too?

This is a reasonable feature request. For PRs that are not checked out this could be more challenging as it's hard to know which PR you want to open a file from. Is this a feature you would want for just checked out PRs?
