Using pnpm catalog feature

When you use pnpm's catalog feature, you can set the version of a package to catalog:mf.
If that package is shared, you want to set the version to the one if your package.json :

{
    shared: {
        'react': {
            requiredVersion: dependencies.react, // 'catalog:mf'
            singleton: true,
        },
    }
}

But this will lead to version comparison and resolution issue. Has anyone figured how to use catalogs without hardcoding the version in the vite config ?

no idea in vite, in webpack/rspack we can resolve version off the package.json of the package you actually import
