The option to logout with ML4W exists, but when choosing it, the SDDM display greeter fires up and while it can accept text, it hangs on some processes. Not sure what or how to even begin debugging.
What should happen:
Press logout, SDDM greeter should render, you type in password and boom, back in session
What actually happens:
Press logout, SDDM greeter renders, and you can sometimes type text, sometimes even login! But mostly, it hangs and accepts no input from KB or trackpad on a laptop. Nothing to do with power off and power on brute force!
Would be nice to figure out what is hanging when logging out and blocking a normal SDDM login attempt!
I get it that the command is simple:
hyprctl dispatch exitand that that should just work... but for some reason, it can hang SDDM! Frustrating as I do that from terminal prompt and it often works fine...Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
