Unable to switch user when loggin off

Whenever I switch users, it comes back to a blank screen with no response and have to force a hard reboot. Fresh Arch linux install

I assume that you have installed the dotfiles successfully for user1. When xou switch to user2 you get a new home directory with own .config directory. You can’t use the installation of user1.

That means that you have to install the dotfiles for user2 as well.

I hope I have understood your issue correctly.

Yes, I understand. I have also installed the dotfiles for user 2. When rebooting the PC I can login to user1 no problem. If I reboot the PC again I can login to user2 no problem. Is when I log off and try to log back as a different user that it gets me to a screen that is not usable at all and the only way out is to do a hard reboot. I have used your dotfiles for a while now. By the way this is on a fresh arch Linux install. I was using Garuda hyprland for awhile. I go back and forth between distros. Always come back to Arch Linux. I have used your dotfiles on and off and never had any issues. Great work.... Get Outlook for Android<https://aka.ms/AAb9ysg>

What happens if you start as user1 with the Dotfiles then reboot and then login as user2? Still issues?

When login in as user1 then reboot and login as user2 works fine. It only happens when login out from user then try to login from different user. Pretty sure it’s because of the xdg-portal setup.
Difficult to solve.
