[BUG] Changes of hyprland variables don't persist through reboots.

Describe the bug

The changes made in the hyprland variables through the ML4W Sidebar application doesn't really persist. I tried changing the natural scroll variable and the workspace toggle through touchpad with minimum with 3 fingers. It worked fine but as soon as I booted back into the system after the update, it changed back to the default settings. Cross checked the same thing thrice but couldn't get it to persist/save these new settings.

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to the ML4W Sidebar Application.
2. Click on the 'Hyprland' button to open the Hyprland Settings application.
3. Click on 'All Variables' button to see the current values and the button to edit it.
4. Toggle the 'input:touchpad:natural_scroll' to active.
5. Reboot and see if it persists or not.

Expected behavior

The settings go back to the default configuration.

I'm also having the same bug, specifically with the natural scroll var not saving.

Reproduce steps are the same, running Arch.

I tried adding the exec line to my hpyrland.conf file as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the ml4w hyprland settings app. No luck with either.

I have the same issue, arch, ml4w version 2.9.8.6

exec = ~/.config/com.ml4w.hyprlandsettings/hyprctl.sh - is called in autostart.conf

Thank gawd I am not going crazy! I have the same issue. I have no work-around for this bug.

This is actually correct. Only favorite variables will be saved in the config file.

Ah ok makes sense but is a little counter intuitive? I imagine people expect values to be saved without adding them to favorites?

Perhaps it is even better that if people change a default value it should be automatically added to favs?

I got tripped by the same issue just now. Maybe in the description it should say that settings only stick if added to favourites. It is only saying that clicking "Add" adds them to favourites but it isn't really explaining the permanence part.
