hyprland settings load infinitely

just installed the dotfiles on my fresh arch install, and when i went to change some stuff in the hyprland settings, menu just shows an infinite loading circle. rebooting did not help.

Is your Hyprland Settings app updated?

It is, also I noticed if I open it on a fresh boot directly after I restart my laptop it works, but opening it later gives that error, it's kinda hit and miss
