ChatGPT Connector Support

Great project! I'd really love to see a Vertica MCP connection that supports ChatGPT's specs, too. If this could be added to the roadmap, it'll be amazing. It requires the adoption of 2 more tools and might require some amendments to utilize the rest of the tools:

Hello, sorry for the late reply and thank you for the suggestion.
I read the link that you attached, but as far as I understand,
this doc looks like a tutorial for implementing an MCP server (the search/fetch looks like just an example that is implemented in that MCP server),

• and using it from ChatGPT's prompt dashboard.
• or by using the OpenAI API, giving tool info to ChatGPT about the tools.

So, as an MCP server, there isn't any additional implementation needed on our side. Our existing server should work as-is with ChatGPT connectors, since the MCP protocol is standardized and our current tools are already compliant.
Is there anything that I misunderstood, or if there are any other questions or suggestions, please let me know!

However, the request is to enable this MCP implementation to integrate with the native ChatGPT Connectors, which requires mandatory tools such as Search and Fetch. Ah-ha, can I get more information to get reproduce steps?

For example,
https://platform.openai.com/ > prompt > connect mcp server > put server url (and did you hosted server or which url is used?), and then test?

Sure.

1. Login to https://chatgpt.com/
2. (Make sure you are on the Teams plan or a Business Plan)
3. Start a new chat
4. Click Use Connectors

5. Connect More

6.Create

7. Add the MCP url with no authentication
