Codex VScode pluging missing some basic functionality

As far as I can tell, the Codex VScode plugin is missing some basic functionality:

• Checkpointing by means of selecting a previous message. Currently, the undo button just reverses the code changes, but I cant find a method to "go back" to a particular point point in the conversation and try again with a different prompt. This is pretty important for context managment, and is featured in almost all standard interfaces just for chatbots. In the case of cursor selecting a previous conversation also returns you to the equivalent code checkpoint, which makes intuitive sense I would say.
• When right clicking files and selecting "Add file to chat", it points to GitHub copilot exclusively as far as I can tell. You can still add files with @, but sometimes it is practical to add them manually, as the @ function doesnt always find the file you are looking for (if it is just recently added for instance). Minor gripe, but something which could be improved upon.

The checkpointing is the only potential dealbreaker here. It is such an intuitive and basic concept that its almost mandatory in order to compete with cursor.

Actually, upon testing, the undo button seems to be completely broken as far as I can tell. It has at given an error that it failed to undo the code changes upon testing in all contexts so far. So the plugin is missing all undo functionality essentially.
