What version of Codex is running?
codex-cli 0.22.0
Which model were you using?
gpt-5 high reasoning effort
What platform is your computer?
ubuntu 23
What steps can reproduce the bug?
try send an image to the model

What is the expected behavior?
The cli should send the image to the server and the model should be able to fully understand the image.
What do you see instead?
Model doesn't know anything about the image, get every answer wrong and explicity says it can't see the image.

codex-cli
i know that the fact that it works for others doesn’t mean anything, but it’s just to show that there’s nothing wrong with the image. the first image is the one i’m sending. i ask questions about the image and codex-cli doesn’t answer anything correctly, not a single table header is right, while gemini (which has a terrible cli) gets everything correct. (claude obviously does too)
