Coverage Visualization Not Refreshing Without File Re-Open #14

@TobiasvdVen

Description

@TobiasvdVen

After trying PrestoCoverage for the first time we think we are running into this issue in v1.16.2.

Our steps:

  • .NET Core 2.2 project in Visual Studio 2017
  • Import Coverlet via NuGet
  • Install PrestoCoverage
  • Press 'Run All' in Test Explorer
  • Coverage visualization shows up properly
  • As an example, we have the following block:
1 if (...)
2 {
3     // Do something
4 }
5 else
6 {
7 // This branch is not covered
8 }

The visualization is correct in this case, showing red in the margin on line 7.
Next, we comment out line 5, the else clause.
After pressing 'Run All' again, all visualization disappears.
It will not appear again until we close the .cs file in which we made these changes and re-open it.

Hope this information helps!
