I believe it's because certain protocols don't comply fully with LBT (listen before talk), at least at the TX power of the Multi-modules. However, I may not be perfectly accurate I think I saw it mentioned here once |

I have a few multiplex m-link recievers and my multiplex transmitter broke (dont really want to buy a new multiplex transmitter). That's why I thought about buying the radiomaster ts16x ii with 4in1. I am from the EU thats why i would buy it with lbt because of legal reasons. But i was told that the m-link protocol is not included in the lbt version. Why is that so?
I am really new to all this opensource (edgetx) transmitters, multiprotocol stuff. I know I could just switch from lbt to fcc by flashing it but I am not sure if that is smart because of legal reasons. I only use surface models.
