rspec-mode does not work when I follow the instruction on README

When I follow the instructions on REAME to install rspec-mode
And I call rspec-verify-all on a spec file
rspec-mode fails for trying to run with the wrong Ruby version

What should one do to have rspec-mode working, besides what is explicit in the README?

Depends on the tool you are using to manage Ruby versions.

With rbenv, nothing.
