Connection dropdown doesn't update when new connections are made in the object view.

Open the query view and make some queries.

In the object explorer connect to another database.

Go back to the query view and observe that the dropdown does not include the new connection.

I assume it's the same case for disconnections.

Can you please elaborate in more detailed way what you are looking for?

Also, once you open query tool, you can click on the connection bar, and make new connections.
