Emailing a push on the webui / API

I asked this questions a few months ago
Do you know if the feature to send pushes directly through email, from the webui, or the API, is scheduled to be done in the next months
?

Like, would u have a roadmap to share or something like that ? Like just to see what is scheduled in the dev for the next months

Hi @TomHeim29! It's a constant juggle of priorities on what to do next with our small team.

Here's a short summary of what's in progress and coming:

• We just finished a big backend update to the OSS version. Will be released this weekend. This preps the road for faster feature migration.
• Next up for OSS is QR code based push support (work starts in the next 10 days likely)
• Self-Hosted Pro is in mid-development but coming to an end
• Push auto-email will be added to the Pro version likely within the next 30 days.
• Sometime after the above, this feature will be moved to the OSS version.

How long until it lands in the OSS version depends on:

1. the progress and related problems of the above items
2. the incoming support work-load

So tldr; a lot is happening but push auto emails is part of the next batch.

I hope the above helps to clarify the situation a bit. We have a lot of customer feature requests that we are slowly working through.

That's a great point that it'll come up on OSS version later.

I'll be using this feature for my company self hosted instance !

Some of my workers has already asked me if it'll be possible to send push via mail 👌
