I upgraded to v3.1.0 and the stats tracking is working fine for the existing sites (using legacy codes). And the old stats have also been migrated successfully but when I add new site and paste the required code on my website, it doesn't verify the installation.

The code installation can be checked at this website where I am getting 500 Error for the script so it's not getting verified in Plausible:

When we set up the Plausible Plugin, the tracking works fine for new domains, but manually adding the Script to the Head section isn't working.

I am experiencing the same error after upgrading to 3.1.0 (from 3.0.1). When I opened the new script the first time it was correctly loaded and when I added it to a website it correctly tracked the visit. But now I get the same error when opening the script in the browser

The above error doesn't occur when I open another new script for an existing or a new domain. Only for one domain where I deployed the script and tested a tracking event.
