Update to the previous article on setting up Google Mail aliases
The previous App Passwords created to send aliased emails through Google email were no longer on the Google account.
New App Password was created, once the new location of the App Passwords page was found within the Google account > Security settings. This was no longer under 2-Factor Verify section (or was not showing as they were no longer there)
Update: app passwords section is only shown under 2-Step Verification if there are existing App Passwords
