IRC Bot #5
Description
Currently we have an IRC bot for handling approvals of flight documents, and also to announce the presence of payloads in the air into the #highaltitude and #habhub IRC channels on libera.chat.
Functions:
- Announces when a new payload is seen on the tracker, and when it was last heard. (e.g. "New position from CALLSIGN after 12 hours silence")
- Provides an interface to allow testing of payload/flight documents, and approval of flight documents. (This currently occurs in the #habhub channel).
Code:
- No idea?
Upgrade Options:
- The pysondehub library could be used for accessing a live telemetry stream for payload announcements.
- If the payload/flight document functionality is moved / replicated, then having the similar test / approval functionality available would be valuable.
