I'm open to look into this, however, I'm not daily driving any Linux GUI machines, my experience stops at headless Debian servers.
So what I could do, is spin up a VM and see how far I get, but I won't be able to test it as rigorous as the mac and windows versions I'm using daily. Would Debian do?

That would be amazing. If it will work on Debian, it'll probably work on everything, so that sounds like a great choice!

If you want to ensure that it works on everything Linux related (Debian, Arch, Fedora, OpenSUSE, etc), it might be best to attempt to release with a .AppImage format (it's a global distribution format for Linux... very similar to the .DMG files for Mac).

I've spun up a Debian VM (13.4.0) and will start development soon. I might leave out the Web and Obsidian deep linking features depending on if I get it to work, these required a lot of troubleshooting on both Windows and Mac, and as I don't daily drive Linux it will be hard to actually implement.
Thanks for the tip for the .AppImage, I'll keep that in mind.

I'll let you know when I have a beta version ready.

A couple of notes:

• I had to disable Obsidian deep-linking as I couldn't get window identification to work.
• Browser deeplink (tested with Firefox) doesn't recognize when the window is on top. That means that when this feature is turned on, it always shows the URL - fir Windows and Mac this is only when the browser window is highlighted. You can simply leave this feature off though.
• Rest seems to work, I can log in, CRUD my todo's, notifications, quick entry.

If you have any issues or if I've missed anything, I'd appreciate the feedback! As I said, I haven't been daily driving this.
