Problem installing event_disptacher gem via bundler on JRuby

I am using bundler 2.3.24 on JRuby 9.4.1.0.
Installing the gem event_dispatcher ( https://github.com/amineasli/event_dispatcher ) is failing via bundler.
I added the gem to the Gemfile and bundler install crashes with:

bundler install

I dont see any platform specific definitions on their gemspec: https://github.com/amineasli/event_dispatcher/blob/master/event_dispatcher.gemspec

Workaround is currently to install the gem via gem install event_dispatcher which works flawlessly, but this only works locally and our deployment will crash as it is using bundler install on the remote.

Is this a bug in bundler or is there another problem here?

I wonder though, why gem install event_dispatcher works. It should complain about the platform mismatch as gem is also ran from the same jruby platform.

Sounds like some bug was fixed. Make sure to update Bundler before reporting any unexpected behavior because we fix things all the time!
