Rundeck version 5.6: Could not initialize class com.amazonaws.util.EC2MetadataUtils

Hi,
with the latest rundeck version 5.6 the node list is empty. Error message in the config dialog is:
Could not initialize class com.amazonaws.util.EC2MetadataUtils

after a downgrade to rundeck version 5.5 everything went back to normal.

We are seeing the same. Rolling back to 5.5.0 also solved the issue on our end.

Had the same issue and had to roll back to 5.5.0. There is a bug fix in rundeck 5.6.0 which will bring improve stability to our platform that I'm very keen on upgrading to.

We faced this very same issue but we solved it by upgrading the ec2 plugin from 1.5.10 (it seems the default version when the plugin is installed using the rd cli) to 1.7.7:
