Keep up with API changes of scikit-learn version 1.6.0 #237

While working on #236, I noticed that scikit-learn version 1.6.0 introduces some breaking API changes for us. I limit the version for now but somebody with deeper insight in scikit-matter should try resolve these issues. I am happy to help.
