[bug]: dropdown/select causes weird overflow on mac

Hard to explain, hoping the video helps. opening dropdown/select causes this weird popout to the left of the scroll bar. verified on Comet and Edge on Mac, same issue doesn't occur on iPhone. setting modal={false} on dropdown fixes it, but then you can scroll. it might apply to other components, not sure
