• I am using Signal-Desktop as provided by the Signal team, not a 3rd-party package.

Overall summary

signal-desktop (7.74.0) doesn't work on KDE plasma (6.3.6) wayland debian trixie. On x11 works fine.

Steps to reproduce

1. Install from signal site
2. Open

Expected result

After open, app should provides QR code for login.

Hello, all button looks grayish, when I clicked button View and Debug log it looks like this

But I can copy log from x11, maybe it can help

Thanks for the log. I took a look but it's not immediately clear what happened. It's surprising that the window shows but is stuck. I would say there's a networking error, but sounds like it's working on X11.
