Deploy to Coolify (its like a self-hosted Vercel)

Vercel and Netflify are expensive at scale, so it would be great to deploy to Coolfy, an open source self hosted platform similar to Vercel.

I have tried several ways in coolify and am having errors galore. Please tell, how exactly did you achieve this?

@akshaynstack Hello! how did you get it deployed on coolify? i get errors no matter what i try. can you share a docker compose file? or explain how you got both the production and development container to start? Ive seen threads on the ottomator site and on here, but nobody has posted a solution.

please go vote it up on coolify service templates, maybe they will add it as a one click install - coollabsio/coolify#4786

as @Plaidmustache wrote, the template, I guess would be on coolify to implement, but we in this project could improve or even write a specific doc for it => labled it as documentation, but still tbd if we will do in the official one, because at some time then their will be a lot of third party stuff we would need to cover. dont know if this makes sense.

Think it will be more a thing for guys on youtube, doing a tutorial out of it and a topic in the community on how to do it, as for cloudflare at the moment.

I tried to deploy this on a Coolify instance, using the 'Docker Compose' option or 'Dockerfile' also, neither managed to deploy the container correctly, In any case I'm receiving this errors repeatedly:

 ERR_PNPM_NO_IMPORTER_MANIFEST_FOUND  No package.json (or package.yaml, or package.json5) was found in "/app".
! Corepack is about to download https://registry.npmjs.org/pnpm/-/pnpm-9.15.4.tgz

I think a lot of the settings need to be the same as for cloudflare deployment. But did not try myself till now.

Thanks @leex279!, I'll give a try on my Coolify instance to see if the same steps (fork repo, delete files) makes the deployment work 👍🏾 , I'll report any results here

I tried several approaches, couldn't get coolify to work with the docs instructions, with nixpacks or with a dockerfile
