No HUB, but using ST cloud

Hi, I do not have an ST HUB. Instead I have all my Samsung ST-compatible devices available in HA using the official ST Integration and the Samsung SmartThings Cloud set up on my Samsung Galaxy Android Phone.
My issue is that my ability to control my devices are very limited. I can read and monitor all attributes, but I cannot command(control) anything.
I was wondering if this ST-Bridge SW can be used to integrate ST Cloud to MQTT thus getting full access to remote control features of ST compatible devices. Or does this bridge strictly require the presence of an ST HUB ?
