That being said, it would be great if it was documented that tauris resource bundling does not work on mobile.

Agreedl, whether or not we actually (can) add the feature on mobile or not since it won't happen in the initial 2.0 release.

It wasn't clear initially that resources required access to ExternalStorage. That would probably be a good thing to add to the doc here! I'm sure you're very busy, so I just wanted to let you know it may be that the corresponding open issue you mentioned is satisfactorily resolved as well, I know it was for me!
