Merge contacts only works with user language english

Bug Description

With my language set to german, I was not able to merge two contacts (I didn't copy the error message).

After switching my user language to English, I was able to merge the two contacts without error.

What I did:

• Scroll to contacts
• Select both
• Click Merge record
• 2 contacts are assigned to be merged
• Confirm

(A related issue came up, when I filtered the list by the name and selected both records, then 5 records were assigned for merging, with the merge screen being empty and the merge failing with another merge error)
