Provide a default icon?

Is it acceptable to put the icon for https://github.com/typst-community in public/favicon.png?
(I mean the square icon in the org homepage, not the rectangle one at https://github.com/typst-community/org/blob/main/design/typst-community.light.svg.)

If there's no icon, the website still builds, but you'll get lots of complaints.

If it can be easily replaced, I have no objections.

However, it seems there may be an issue with the server implementation, as it repeatedly alternates between looking for public/favicon.png and public/favicon.png/ as fallbacks.

Indeed, :5173/docs/favicon.png/ and :5173/docs/favicon.png redirect to each other (301 Moved Permanently).

https://github.com/huwaireb (aka. rmu) has uploaded the png file to https://github.com/typst-community/org/blob/main/design/typst-community.icon.png.

However, there're additional concerns:

we should probably only do that if we have some control over the repo to ensure the the typst community organization isn't misrepresented

it's just the typst t with community written vertically to the right its okay to have it as default for all, but honestly nothing is probably best since someone might miss/forget to change it when it is undesirable to them. happens a lot in e.g react

I strongly agree with that opinion. Let's put the default icon setting on hold for now.

We still welcome suggestions from anyone who has ideas for an attractive original icon.
