Syntax highlighting for code does not work with next.js

I've installed the latest version of this package, which is supposed to take next.js. I can see that markdown renders correctly, but the code doesn't render syntax highlighting.

is this normal, and how can I solve it?
I didn't want to use nextjs package next-remove-imports to solve the problem.

I can confirm that this helps. It saved me an hour of reinstalling and reconfiguring everything. Perhaps, maintainers should put this somewhere in the NextJS section.

this don't work for me, i have this error
