BUG: fix UI across all sections #147

What went down?
Hi, Palchhin here,
I just noticed a few issues that can be fixed to make the website better!
Issues
- No hover effect on the footer section
- Broken layout of the Contributors page
- Original loading design is missing (which I added)
- No placeholder img or message to show when bg image is not present.
Screenshots
Will fix all these issues so that the website is more user-friendly and has better UI.
