feat: replace mermaid with svg

mermaid is not fully supported by GitHub (e.g. the elk layout engine) and not supported at all by **npmjs.com** or **hub.docker.com**.
So instead generate an interactive SVG, that can be embedded as image using <img> or interactive using <object> or <embed>.
