AI Agent Payments and Their Impact on the Web #37

@ruoxiran

Description

@ruoxiran

AI agents are beginning to negotiate and execute payments on behalf of users, which may reshape the Web economic and technical landscape. This raises questions about how payment protocols interact with web, access control, and monetization models. It also challenges the existing ecosystem about subscriptions, micropayments, and service interoperability on the Web. This issue aims to explore the technical implications, potential risks, and standardization opportunities around AI agent payments.
