macOS 26 - virtual display - sharing not possible

After updating to macOS 26, sharing the virtual screen I need to crop my widescreen display is no longer possible with WebEx (it works with Teams).

Error during sharing: You cannot currently share content because you have disconnected from your display. Connect the display and try again, or share something else.

This seems to be a bug in the WebEX app? I recommend taking this issue to them. Sharing a virtual screen should work I think.
