license - buy on this computer, use on that computer

Afternoon all. It appears I don't need to go through the BD app to buy a BD license. Is the BD license something portable that I can buy on my computer and then gift to a friend to use on their computer? When I buy a BD license, do I get an email with a product code? That would be ideal. thanks, h

you can get the app here as well: https://betterdisplay.pro/buy

If you buy the license in the app, you'll still get an email with the license key and you can use the key on an other computer to activate the app. In this case it is best to deactivate the license on the installation you used to purchase it.
