Connection errors

During normal usage in the last week, I've gotten 2 connection error alerts. Hitting OK seems to dismiss and I can use the app "normally." However, after 1, I was unable to publish a post (repeatedly failed) and notifications didn't appear to come through until restarting the app.

you can try sending your requests with a Connection: close header:
This sounds worth exploring as a patch for this issue and as a better patch #3016

Hacked on this a bit more. I tried setting the Connection: close header but it seems to be forced to keep-alive by the OS. I'm not finding much about it via Google except a couple of old articles saying this is the expected behavior. :(

I am closing this issue for now because of the inability to repro and the age of the original report. If we get any other people noting this issue, we can reopen it.
