@blakegearin Thanks for the suggestion! That layout is pretty close to what I’m looking for. However, as far as I can tell, it can’t be toggled via a keyboard shortcut, and even if it could, it’d get a bit tedious to switch manually every time I work on dev sites. It’d be great if Zen could remember or automatically apply a specific layout based on the URL or domain, that would make the workflow much smoother. |

When working on web development tasks, it’s often necessary to view and modify long URLs, for example, when testing query parameters, dynamic routes, or authentication tokens. Currently, Zen’s sidebar-based URL bar makes this a bit cumbersome, as it offers limited horizontal space and makes editing longer URLs more difficult.
A dedicated Developer Mode like it was done in Arc could address this by offering a layout with a traditional URL bar at the top of the window and additional developer-focused elements on the right, such as quick access to the console, inspector, or network tools.
