Copy and Edit pinned tab URL?

Pinned tab opens the site’s home page, which redirects to the login portal.

I need to copy and share the URL without logging in, but there’s no way to right-click, view, or edit the URL.

Zen only offers “Replace with current URL.”

Since Zen’s pinned tabs aren’t treated as bookmarks, they don’t appear in the Firefox bookmark list (Ctrl + B).

Is there any way to edit or copy the pinned tab’s URL?

Chrome allows editing, which makes copying possible.

There’s currently no built-in way in Zen to copy or edit the URL of a pinned tab. Pinned tabs aren’t treated as bookmarks, so they don’t show up in the bookmark list or offer the same right-click options as Chrome or Firefox bookmarks. The only available action is “Replace with current URL,” and double-clicking just lets you rename the tab’s title, not its URL.

This limitation is a known pain point, especially for sites that redirect (like SSO portals), and several users have requested the ability to manually set or copy the URL of a pinned tab, but this feature hasn’t been implemented yet (discussion, feature request). Some users use extensions or scripts as a workaround, but these aren’t fully integrated or persistent in Zen.

For now, there’s no direct workaround in Zen to copy or edit a pinned tab’s URL before a redirect. This is an area with active user demand, so it’s worth keeping an eye on future updates.

I'm fine with current implementation, has everything I need coming over from Arc. But I'd really like to be able to just copy a pin's original (not "current"!) URL. I often need those URLs to pass on to people, and now I need to open the tab just to be able to grab the URL from it.
