Middle Mouse Click to close a tab with tab peek not working

• I have checked that this issue can be reproduced once I removed all my Mods and Custom CSS.

What happened?

Usually when you open and close a tab you can use the middle mouse click even if it has a tab peek. However in v1.17.11b it only tries to open a new tab and not close the said tab with a tab peek.

Expected behavior

Close the tab with tab peek inside.

Actual behavior

Opens a new tab

Steps to reproduce

1. Open a new tab and go to [My Drama List] (https://mydramalist.com).
2. Select a text and right click.
3. Click the "Seach on google" and it is supposed to open peek.

*Try to close it using middle mouse click
