What happened?

Sidebar jitters due to trying to render more buttons than it can fit (at the top). Buttons in question:
Image

Expected behavior

No jitter, sidebar is usual

Actual behavior

Jittering sidebar, makes the browser unusable

Steps to reproduce

Screencast.from.01-12-25.12.01.11.webm

Pre-reqs:
Single toolbar mode

Steps:

  1. Set the sidebar width to the smallest but where all the buttons are rendered.
  2. Now reduce the width slowly, you will notice the buttons themselves jittering.
  3. Reducing further will result in the whole sidebar jittering

Current methods to recover:

  • 'Catch' the sidebar when it is at it's longest width and resize it to either big enough for all the buttons or small enough that only the back/forward buttons render (shown in video)
    OR
  • Restart the browser (close window and reopen), HOWEVER, it will return to jitter if you go into compact mode and come back
