sandbox architecture can be different to host architecture by using qemu binfmt. tested with >= Ubuntu 18 LTS including WSL2. - install qemu binfmt-support qemu-user-static - install qemu-user-static >= 5 manually by Ubuntu packages (has no dependencies) - may a workaround for WSL2 necessary: - update-binfmts --unimport - update-binfmts --import - restart binfmts-support service - check that update-binfmts --display shows interpreter /usr/libexec/qemu-binfmt/ instead of /usr/bin/qemu-*-static check the example in tests directory. NOTE: may build without --sandbox will fail of course, if sandbox isn't host architecuture
