A user and I can only replicate the bug with the version installed by homebrew bottle. brew install fastfetch --build-from-source does work. Therefore, I assume there is somehow an ABI break change in one of its build dependencies ( possibly imagemagick )

You need to squash your commits with the last commit message. If the bug persists on the bottle, then revision bump is required to update all users with newly built bottles.
