Hi, I think it would be great that the toolchain is updated. As a solution I am experimenting in creating enhancements to this repo as it doesnt seem active. Boards package json Arduino Core Sam enhanced As a first step I updated the toolchain to the latest version 10.3.2021. |

These versions also do have an ARM64 versions.
For this change to work properly (without having cores installed that also use these tools - e.g. Arduino-samd) we also need to update the core package_index.json.
