I'm unsure if this is something you would like adding to TLDX but I added some visual enhancements for my personal tastes and thought I would share incase it was useful/wanted. For this to work I we have to wait for all domains to finish, which is why you may not want this feature as at the moment the results are streamed in real time.

Added:

  • Grouped Domains
  • Sorted Domains

I love the general premise of this and have explored some forms of sorting myself.

While I don't want to switch the default text stream to this, maybe this could be good as a "sorted-text" format?

Otherwise, another option I've been pondering is a more direct TUI, where tldx can update already streamed domains.

Thoughts?

I think adding a "sorted-text/grouped-text" would probably be the easiest and best to implement. I only have a small amount of experience with TUIs but I can imagine long content would be very painful to handle.

What are your thoughts?

"grouped-text" would probably make the most sense here. I'd also want it to support the --show-stats flag, too.

The current output type setup offers limited flexibility beyond write and purge. I'll do some thinking on how we can separate that for this use case + future TUI use case.
