Situation

Change

Update Cypress in examples sub-directories to [email protected] for parity with the latest released version of Cypress:

As an exception, update Cypress in the following sub-directory to [email protected]. The current latest firefox-esr package from Debian is Firefox 128. Cypress 15 requires a minimum version Firefox 135.

Verify

cd examples
./test-all-examples.sh

Firefox ESR 128 & 140 shows ESR 115 and 128 with EOL on Sep 16, 2025 and I would expect that Debian would provide a Firefox 140 ESR accordingly, although I have seen no plans from Debian on this score.
