## Label Explorer

Some steps in ilastik involve labeling your data, either in the form of brush stroke annotations (e.g. in [Pixel Classification][pc], [Autocontext][ac], Carving[ca]), and class assignments for objects (in [Object Classification][oc] and [Tracking][tr]).

In order to quickly navigate between different manual annotations, the relevant steps in the ilastik workflow have a "Label Explorer" on the right side of the viewport.

The Label Explorer can be opened by either double clicking on the _Label Explorer_ caption, or clicking and dragging from the right.

You can use the [Label Explorer]({{site.baseurl}}/documentation/basics/navigation#label-explorer) to find all existing annotations.
