convert tables to md/mrow

The script works the same way as before, but now should also convert tables to
the suggested markup with md, mrow, and \amp.

Note that I have not pulled from your repository. I don't want to do that
because your version of the script may not work on my system. But the
changes I made are to another part of the script, so it should be compatible
with whatever changes you have made.

Let me know if the new conversions have any issues.

Also, let me know if you wanted this pull request to a different branch.
